TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of photography and videography services provided by KB Johnson Photography, operated by VisualKBJ Media LLC.

By booking a session, event, or using this website, clients agree to the following terms.

Booking & Retainers

Photography and videography dates are not officially reserved until a retainer or payment is received.

Retainers help secure session dates and are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Remaining balances are due according to the terms discussed before the session or event.

Rescheduling & Weather

Clients may request to reschedule sessions based on availability.

Outdoor sessions affected by severe weather may be rescheduled whenever possible. Weather-related decisions are made collaboratively between KB Johnson Photography and the client to ensure the best overall experience and final images.

Session Experience

KB Johnson Photography provides guidance throughout sessions including posing, movement, location direction, lighting guidance, and overall creative direction.

Clients are encouraged to arrive on time and communicate any delays or concerns prior to the session whenever possible.

Image Delivery

Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery platform.

Turnaround times may vary depending on:

  • Session type

  • Event size

  • Conference coverage

  • Wedding coverage

  • Volume of images

  • Seasonal workload

Clients will receive high-resolution downloadable images unless otherwise specified.

Editing Style

Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with the photographic and editing style of KB Johnson Photography based on the portfolio, website, blog content, and social media presence.

Final images are edited in a style consistent with the photographer’s portfolio and creative vision.

RAW/unedited images are not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

Copyright & Usage Rights

KB Johnson Photography retains copyright ownership of all images and video content created during sessions and events.

Clients may:

  • Share images online

  • Print images for personal use

  • Use images for personal branding unless otherwise restricted

Commercial usage, resale, publication, advertising campaigns, or third-party commercial use may require written permission unless previously agreed upon.

Portfolio & Marketing Usage

Unless otherwise requested in writing before the session or event, KB Johnson Photography may use photographs and video content for:

  • Portfolio display

  • Website galleries

  • Blog posts

  • Social media

  • Marketing materials

  • Promotional campaigns

  • AI visibility and search optimization purposes related to the business

Privacy requests should be communicated before the session date whenever possible.

Event & Conference Coverage

Conference, networking, wellness, corporate, and event photography coverage often includes candid moments, audience interactions, speaker coverage, and crowd photography.

By attending public or ticketed events photographed by KB Johnson Photography, attendees acknowledge they may appear in event imagery used for promotional or portfolio purposes unless otherwise restricted by the event organizer.

Limitation of Liability

KB Johnson Photography is not responsible for:

  • Unforeseen weather conditions

  • Venue restrictions

  • Missed shots due to late arrivals

  • Third-party interruptions

  • Technical failures beyond reasonable control

  • Circumstances outside reasonable operational control

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, emergency, or inability to fulfill services, liability is limited to payments received.

Website Usage

All images, content, branding, logos, and media displayed on this website remain the property of KB Johnson Photography unless otherwise noted.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

Photography Services

KB Johnson Photography specializes in graduation photography, professional headshots, branding photography, conference photography, wellness event coverage, corporate events, and editorial-style portrait sessions throughout South Florida and Florida.

Travel for conferences, corporate events, fashion events, brand activations, and creative projects outside of Florida is available depending on scheduling and project needs.
